The Horse Comes First

Equine massage is a demanding job. From a physical standpoint, business, and time, finding balance is tough. Why not take away some of that stress and implement an additional tool to your trade?

With MagnaWave, you have the ability to help more horses a day, grow your business, and utilize your time. The knowledge and expertise to become an equine massage therapist is intense, from the anatomical aspect to physical stretching, and developing an eye for asymmetry. Take your experience and add another layer with MagnaWave!

Why should you invest in a MagnaWave?

Physical Demand. Equine massage is a hard job. The ability to massage muscles and break up the tissue can be difficult. Adding a MagnaWave to your business can help relieve some of the physical demands. Keep your hands on the horse and trust your feel, but let the MagnaWave machine work for you. This will let you focus on the entirety of the horse.

Utilize Your Time. Barn time is different than real time. What started as a quick 45 minute massage, turns into 90 minutes later and still working on that one stubborn knot. Did we mention that all MagnaWave machines have timers? You can determine the time length of your session. Does that muscle knot need a couple more minutes? You can always add 5 additional minutes! Combining PEMF with massage helps you work on those hard areas.

Grow Your Business. You already have a good base of clients, but now you’ll have the ability to add more! By alleviating part of the physical demand and managing your time, you are able to do more sessions and take on more clients. If you need help in the starting steps, we’ve got you covered with business classes taught by MagnaWave President, Alane Paulley.

Let’s take a look at why MagnaWave works.

MagnaWave uses Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF) to allow the body to achieve a natural state of wellness. MagnaWave machines have a unique electrical current that runs through a copper coil, which creates a pulsing magnetic field. PEMF reduces pain and inflammation, increases circulation, and gently stimulates muscles, tendons, and ligaments. This action can cause a chain of processes in the body that could lead to improvement of health without adverse side effects.

Reduces Pain and Inflammation

The natural response to pain or injury in the body is inflammation. The body wants to “investigate” this situation further by sending signals to the injured area. This can come off as heat, swelling, or loss of function. PEMF has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect, and helps regulates the inflammation in the body.[1] This will help manage the pain, and can result in tissue recovery.

Works on the Cellular Level

PEMF works on the body down to a cellular level. The cell works like a battery, and when it is depleted, it’s hard for the following sequences to occur. Using PEMF can help “recharge” the battery by providing an electromagnetic field. With this energy, the cell is able to carry on functions and work in conjunction to the body. The pulse can start working in milliseconds, and can last days to weeks. By starting at the membrane, PEMF can open various channels to help cellular responses, and tissue responses.[2] This leads to overall wellness through out the entire body, from cells to organ systems, PEMF can make a difference. {image of PEMF on the cellular level}

Increase Circulation

The circulatory system in the body is important for delivering nutrients, and collecting waste products for the entire body. When the circulation becomes enhanced, more oxygen can be delivered to tissues and waste removed. This is essential to the health and maintenance for muscles to have proper nutrients, aiding in muscle recovery and general health.

Gently Stimulates Tissue

Common massage techniques include effleurage, petrissage, friction, and percussion (tapotement) to work on tissue. While physical work can be hard on the hands, MagnaWave is there to help! As you notice in the video below, you can see muscle movement and stimulation take place. The additional benefit is that PEMF can travel deep into the body and reaches down to the bone. Add another layer by integrating MagnaWave and massage work!

Now that you’ve read this far, that is a lot of information to take in! We are here to help with every step of the way. If you have any questions, want to learn more, or just want to talk about your horse (or any animal, we love them all!) let’s get a call scheduled.
